Kareem WaLLker (dismissed from ttun)

Excellent article. I really like the coach's quotes about recruiting process, and coach Meyer's philosophy on recruits taking visits. Makes the tweet from the scUM coach about "insecure people" sound stupid all over again.

Just tweeted:

"I'm 100% to #OhioState"

If I was a high school senior and decided where I wanted to go I'd probably commit ASAP to lock in my scholarship; however, I'd still want to take my allotment of visits. Four more schools offering me a free trip (i.e. all expenses paid) and treat me like royalty. I don't see anything wrong with that.

Neither does Urban. There is an article about him on the Ozone where he talks about Urban insisting he takes his visits because he's so confident that Ohio State will beat out all of the competition.

Urban will take care of those who will come in, believe, put in the work, stay clean, and of course produce. He is patient with anyone who follows that script and he will find a way. The kids define their future. How bad do you want it? Prove it. It is really simple if you are good and you are if he is recruiting you. Do your part and he will get you where you want to get.

IMHO, this is nothing but a good thing in our recruitment of him. Also, nice being the closest school to home that he's still considering by a long-shot

Really appreciate how Kareem has handled his recruitment. Straight-forward and with class. Appreciate how Kareem's coach is helping him with his recruitment and finding the perfect school for him... textbook.
