Palmdale (Calif.) cornerback Joshua Shaw, an Under Armour All-American, has a number of schools interested in his services.
But there's one school he has yet to hear from.
"I definitely want to hear from Miami," Shaw said. "I haven't heard from them, but I wish I was."
Shaw, a 6-foot-2, 181-pound physical specimen with 4.46 speed in the 40, who scored 10 touchdowns on offense last season and recorded four interceptions, is very high on the Hurricanes.
"It's the 'U'," Shaw said. "There are so many great players that have came through there. Even me being a Cali boy, a lot of us growing up here rooting for Miami just because of the great legends they have."

Josh Shaw is the first to admit that his contact with LSU had fallen off over the past couple of months. Yet, a phone call from the staff and a planned official visit has the California native talking the Tigers once again.

"I hadn't heard from LSU in awhile so I didn't know if they were still recruiting me," Shaw said. "I've always liked them and they were one of my early favorites but when I didn't hear from them in awhile, I thought maybe they were going in a different direction.
"Then just last week, they contacted me to see if I was still visiting and I said I definitely still wanted to. I wanted to visit Michigan but it was never official, I never had a firm date or anything.
