Johnny Manziel (unemployed)

Summon knows he can't do shirt about Johnny boy. Johnny's parents would sue him and aTm so fast they wouldn't know what hit them. I also think that Sumlin's career.is going to take a big hit because of Johnny if he loses control over the team because of this shit.

I'm amazed at the number of people who appear to be adults who are either excusing, or praising, this clown's behavior. "...he's acting like any normal 20 year old college kid..." is a frightening concession to what we expect from those soon to be taking important professional positions in our nation.

This guy is a media member's dream. Of course they love him.. The blogs/articles and radio segments practically write themselves.

Dare I say it...but if Johnny WWE played for OSU...what would be the media reaction then?

Overall, I've been OK with the media reaction to Johnny Messengill. It's almost all been pretty damning other than that imbecile Bilas who's just trying to shoehorn the story to fit his ncaa narrative.

Were it Ohio State or another Big Ten school, I'm not sure ESPN could have come down any harder on Johnny Handcramp. Also, keep in mind that any Big Ten President (even Gee) would not have been so stupid as to hold a press conference and throw down the gauntlet to ESPN the way the aggy Chancellor did.

Joe Flacco: Johnny Manziel's 'quickly becoming my favorite player'

"Being hated is not a bad thing ... I don't know if I'll be too popular after [saying] this: I [didn't] know how I really felt about Johnny Manziel," Flacco told Jim Corbett of USA Today. "But I feel like now that everybody hates him, he's quickly becoming my favorite player in college football."

FWIW, I really never liked Flacco (or the Ravens) much either.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic- isn't that exactly what Gene and Gee did, on numerous occasions, in response to the tattoo scandal?

I think they made some comments about overreaching reports, but correct me if I'm wrong because I'm not certain.

The aggy Chancellor, on the other hand, specifically called out one of their reporter's--by name--ethics, integrity and reputation. He also gave a statement of blanket support for JFF saying none of their reports were true. I don't remember anything similar regarding JT.

Okay, I was speaking just about the press conferences themselves- I don't specifically recall exactly what they talked about during, although I'd argue that just having them in the first place invited uneccessary media attention and scrutiny.
