John Calipari (official thread of impending probation)

Not really.

Calipari is orders of magnitude a better coach than Tubby.
For all his warts and "methods", their isn't a person on the planet that wouldn't agree with that.

Then we can all look forward to him winning the NIT title the Tubby let slip away with Minnesota a couple years ago.

Having a stable of top frosh miss the NCAA tourney might be the only thing that can pour some cold water on Cal's hot recruiting. And if it doesn't, it will look even more fishy than it already does. Nobody has recruited like Calipari has from 2010-2013 at any school in college basketball in the past 30 years at least. Gonna be a tense Sunday evening for UK fans as they hope to hear their name called.

Calipari is a terrific coach who is also ethically challenged. The latter doesn't change the former. Had Thad Matta never been born, I'd love to have John Calipari as coach of the Buckeyes.

Not only is UK playing in the NIT, but they're going on the road to Robert Morris. Supposedly Rupp Arena has some staffing issues?

Funny for Kentucky to play a road game at Robert Morris with no home game in return.

I'd like to know if John Calipari deliberately tries to tank the NIT so he can go do studio work for CBS or ESPiN. Or will he do studio work while coaching in the NIT.

Either way, he's doing studio work.

Seriously, if he wants an exit to maybe take a bad NBA job, he has one right now. It'd probably pay less and Worldwide Wes would have little-to-no influence in the NBA.

He has an unbelievable class coming in...he ain't leaving now unless the NCAA bloodhounds are closing in.
