Tressel to appear at Walsh benefit

NORTH CANTON Jim Tressel is coming to Walsh University in support of his first boss.

Tressel, Ohio State's head football coach, will headline an April 25 fundraiser to benefit the Walsh University Campus Health and Wellness Complex Campaign.

Walsh Head Coach Jim Dennison gave Tressel his first job in 1975 as a graduate assistant at Akron.

Jim Tressle (Official Thread)

Everyone knows Jim Tressle is the best coach we've ever had. There have been countless times where we would have a great team, and, get beat by Michigan. EVERY TIME. But Tressle solved that problem. He is the missing puzzle piece we needed for about 100 years. My respect goes to him.

Woah, lets uh, maybe hold off on the comparisons just yet. Tressel is only in his 7th season coming up... Woody coached us for 28 years, gave us 5 national championships and 3 heisman trophies.

you'd think that someone who considers tressel to be ohio state's best ever coach would at least correctly spell his name.

Brian Billick just said, and I quote, "there is no better coach in the country than Jim Tressel," when talking about the decision to draft Troy on NFL Network. I hope there is a young HS prospect somewhere who hears that and pays attention to the total # of Buckeyes drafted.

Think Tony Dungy might feel similarly?
