I think Jim Irsay has his man in mind. It may be Jim Tressel, that's what I'm hearing, Dungy said.

Seriously, Jim Tressel couldn't be a worse NFL coach than a Nick Saban, Chan Gailey, Josh McDaniels or an Eric Mangini.

I am not sure that's exactly a ringing endorsement. But if this is the job that he is interested in, I hope he does well!

When i first heard the story of Tressel being interviewed twice i started thinking that this would be great and then i started thinking of how would he handle the coaching staff. Would he keep the coaches that are still in place
or would he bring in his own people? This should be interesting to see how it all pans out if he is the next head coach for Indy.

There are now reports the Colts will not hire Jim Tressel as head coach. This after a round of reports that Tressel had received two interviews and was in serious contention for the job.
