I just listened to the press conference with Jim Tressel from Pat O'Brien's in New Orleans.
What a class guy.
He's a credit to the profession, your university, your state and your football program.
Just a first rate human being.
I could go on and on, but you guys already know.
No, really. Do go on.

It's nice to hear some respect from another program...

So....what other thoughts do you have about JT?

is there any doubt now that tressel is one of the top 2 (maybe 1) coaches in the nation? the guy has done everything. won big ten championships, has a national championship and now beaten teams from every conference (even the unstoppable and all powerful sec). i dare anyone to say that tressel can't do something as a coach. he will continue to prove people wrong.

jimmy t is nothing but classy and deserves every bit of success he gets.

Carroll is gone. Meyer is gone. Tressel and Saban need to match up now. But based on longevity and accomplishment in that manner, Tressel is the #1 coach in the NCAA in my book. National Title. Fiesta Bowl champ, Rose Bowl champ, Sugar Bowl champ.

JT is human, so naturally he's far from perfect...as he would tell you. But I can't think of anyone I'd rather have coaching my team. I'll say it again, our losses outside the lines and football games will be greater than the losses we endure in actual games when he leaves. Talk about leaving a legacy...well done Coach, we love ya.

Have you ever wondered if JT is a member of this board incognito; how awesome that would be? I for one would watch my language if I were you. But I'm not you, I'm someone you don't even know

Just something I've been wondering about. I'm sure stranger things have happened...

It's probably Gatorubet.
