Jim Bollman (Stay calm and run Dave)

I like the Pistol sets we have implemented. I wonder what the chances are that we have more of the "pony" look from 08? 2 HB's in the backfield with Braxton.

Boom & Hall. Hall & Hyde. Boom & Hyde for more short yardage but give the defense something to think about with a back getting out into the flats.

Not taking anything away from Boren and his blocking/pass catching abilities. Just another offensive scheme I figured would be interesting to see again.

I like the Pistol as well. It gives Brax a chance to see the field and it is also great for a quick three step drop and throw....

At least he is a knockout recruiter.

The OL for 2012/2013 looks dynamite, except for the fact that 5 OL are needed to play at once.

I was watching Koehne play for Florida last night and he looked darn good at LG. He went to school with my daughter in Indy and He wanted to go to tOSU. Bollman talked too him, but never offered. Gotta believe a kid who is good enough to get an offer and start for Florida has the talent to play for tOSU.

The recruiting of JB and the coaching of JB are pretty consistent with each other. Its kinda like the first half of the Nebraska game and completing 1 forward pass in the Illinois game. There is simply no consistency. He had the great Block O class and a lot of inconsistent classes sprinkled in. Its weird and I would love for someone to explain it.....especially in a high paid position at a top 10 college football program. Go Bucks

Braxton really saved Bollman's playcalling with that last play. Seriously Bollman where's the balance. 28 Passes to 2 Runs at one point in the second half. Braxton shows a ton of potential, but Bollman keeps taking the ball out of his hands, it's idiotic.

Where was the balance? It was shoved straight up Bucky Badger's ass.

They were thoroughly in control of this game by running the football. Until Ball broke that big run on the draw when Wisconsin went hurry-up, the Buckeyes were controlling the game to a greater extent than any point this season since the Colorado game. Yes, that even includes when they were up three scores on Nebraska.

Bollman almost lost the game with predictibility. A couple play action earlier in the game would have kept the Wisky D honest, but they knew what was coming and the the Lord we had Brax or the game was lost. That's the truth.

...or may have led to a big momentum killing play like an interception or a sack/fumble.

Sorry folks, there have been plenty of times this year to bang the playcalling drum, but tonight wasn't one of them. They were in control of that game by running the football. I'm amazed that people still take that for granted after some of the performances we've seen over the last few weeks. That was a big step forward for the offense and could serve them well when (if) they seek to introduce a few more passing opportunities for their quarterback who is still very, very green.

What are you talking about we could have kept the ball out of their hands to not even give them a chance to come back. But bollman's playcalling has no balance. When you take the ball out of your best playmakers hands nearly the entire second half. They preach balance but they don't call it. I'm not calling for 50/50 but Wisconsin was loading the box big time late in the game.

Correction: They were loading the box the entire game. The Buckeyes ran it down their throats anyway. They controlled the ball and controlled the clock. Kept their defense fresh and limited possessions for Wisconsin's offense (which if you didn't notice toward the end of the game, is actually quite good).

This was the 2009 Iowa game all over again. It was the correct gameplan and it was executed quite well by the backs and the men in the trenches.
