Think I might go ahead and pick up a number 10...Or wait a few years once its retired, and picked up a stitched Troy Smith one.

The best bets when buying jerseys are always the numbers for our studs wear coming through: 7, 11, 4, etc.

I was thinking the athletic department/football program would be changing the permanent home uniforms, since they haven't been altered since the 2006 season.

Probably "branded" too much within the athletic department to change (the permanents). Many other teams (like hockey and basketball) share the same stripe pattern that's on the helmets and pants.

The uni in the picture? I don't see any grey stripes on it, it looks like a blurry version of the current uniform to me. Maybe the shoulder numbers are a tad bigger, but everything else looks the same to me.

It looks like I'll be getting a new jersey this year since I absolutely swim in my current two that I wear. Size 52, when I should be wearing a 48. I have two scarlet authentic jerseys (#28 and #33).

I was a fat high school kid. :lol:

Anything that large should be a lineman's number. I almost bought a #2 back when Doss was playing, but I wore a 52 back then and it would have looked ridiculous.

Yeah, I'm thinking about #2 or #5 currently. I'd be pumped if they offered #10 in an authentic.

I think it's going to stay that way until about mid September/early October. Next time I'm in Columbus, I think I'll stop in the bookstore and see what they have.

I'd like to see it, but there is no f'ing way the Nike uni's will be such a small change.

They may pay tribute to the 2002 team..but you can be sure they'll make it look like ass somehow.
