The Nike program has 11 schools wearing these special one-time jerseys, though most schools went with just an alternate look and didn't attempt to call it a throwback. The other schools are TCU, Virginia Tech, Oklahoma, Florida State, Texas, LSU, Miami, Missouri, Florida and Clemson.

Well I don't like the sound of this...apparently the lineman don't like the cleats that go with these throw backs. That can't be good.

I can't see this ending well. I have a bad feeling about it.

I can't imagine that the coaches would put the players at risk.. but if Nike tries to force this, shame on them.

I'm really hoping they didn't have all of the shoe options in camp, otherwise this is inexcusable.

Yeah, if my ankles were getting rolled in some shitty Nike experiment cleats, then you could bet your ass that I'd be wearing the cleats that I've worn for the past 11 games.
