Was watching the BTN special on the '02 season the other night. It's crazy how much I miss having the helmets filled with leaves for The Game. I really wish they'd stop this bullshit.

^^^THIS!!! I also feel weird watching the first couple games with those bare helmets...and almost the whole 2011 season:-( I'm hoping BRAX has to switch helmets at half during "The Game" so all his buckeyes get to see the field!!

Clothes Call: Buckeye leaves official on ?13 jersey

A month ago, pictures surfaced of Ohio State football jerseys that featured Buckeye leaves on the back of the collar. There was some question about the authenticity, though, and at the time a school spokesman told BTN.com that the team had no updates regarding uniforms.

Mark McClure, of The Buckeye Room, the Columbus retail store that posted the pictures, said the jerseys were officially licensed from Nike and would be worn this season.

And they will. BTN?s Derek Reinglass took the photo below from our visit today to Ohio State practice. Why seven leaves, you ask? It?s the number of national titles the program claims (1942, 1954, 1957, 1961, 1968, 1970, 2002).

I didn't know this year's jerseys were including that little design at the v-neck that unfortunately has been featured on NFL jerseys. The jerseys are starting to get a little overcrowded with pieces of flair.
Believe it or not that is actually a tech. The fly wire tech keeps the collar of the jersey flat and snug and prevents the collar from ridding up the neck of the player while allowing it to stay tight. Wasn't a fan of if when Nike first introduced it but I have talked to a few coaches and players on the high school level who wear it and they love it
