The whole idea that college football uniforms should be stealing ideas from euro soccer teams need to stop.

Hey I played soccer for 9 years before I became a mediocre HS player. Yet somehow I manage still have enough sense to understand that yellow & red cards have no business in football & introducing relegation to a sport that is strongly defined by regional conference affiliations is brain dead.

By all means tweak the uniforms to keep them fresh, but never lose sight of the fact that once you start constantly changing symbols that are considered to be 'iconic', that descriptor no longer applies.

I'm not opposed to modded the uniforms here and there when necessary. I am however strongly opposed to constant meaningless changes whose only purpose is to put money in the pocket of Phil Knight. In the end those things detract from the Ohio State brand.

The Buckeyes don't need to festoon their players with gee-gaws & fooforall.

For some reason in the first photo I thought the ******* was on the front of the neckline. Don't ask me why because looking at it is clearly the back of a jersey (unless it's a mock turtleneck).

Having it on the back isn't nearly as godawful as I was originally thinking. I'm still not a fan for a number of reasons (weird colored buckeye leaves, it's just another generic idea being foisted on multiple teams rather than something unique to OSU) but the WTF?! factor has dropped considerably.
