Also double hearsay, but saw a comment on The Ozone's forum that said Urban just said on the radio call-in show that we'll have some kind of throwback for The Game again.

Not sure how much I like that...Fortunately since we're away we know it's not the black uniforms. And not throwback obviously.

I think i remember a picture earlier in this thread of a all white uniform with a silver helmet. Thats probably it

Anybody seen these yet? I picked up one of these this week for the wife. Official Nike jersey, name added by seller of course. Has all the licensing documentation.
Just wondering if this foreshadows what the Pro Combat unis might look like this year. Have to admit, all black under the lights might look pretty sweet. Nice looking jersey regardless.

Trim around the numbers WOULD look pretty sharp. I was just wondering about the black jersey.......I don't remember Nike ever selling them before. I saw a bunch of knock-offs online, but this was the first time I saw official ones. Don't know if they based it on the practice jersey or not. I don't remember stripes on the sleeves of those though. And # 5 is the only one avaliable

No, what it needs is grey. The colors of red, black, and white are those of Nebraska or Georgia. The jersey is ugly as is because other than that Ohio State logo on the neck it represents nothing of OSU. If it were seen from afar no one would be able to tell that its a Buckeye jersey because other than that scarlet stripe it looks nothing like our current or previous wear.

People really need to get the fuck over it. While I don't want an Oregon type dress code, I don't mind a lil change up once a year..just not against scUM. Grey numbers with scarlet trim would be fine.
