Jeff Hafley (DC Green Bay Packers)

Going from coaching at an elite level CFB team where you are working with 4 star and 5 star talent (with more 4 star and 5 star talent coming in) to working with a struggling program filled with 2 star and 3 star talent is a different animal all together. Jeff is an elite coach for sure but going from undefeated to maybe winning 50% of your games the first 2-3 years will certainly be a labor of love.

You got to think that if he is willing to wait another year or two a much better opportunity would come his way.

Here's wishing the best for Coach Hafley.

Explains Coach Day bailing on the CFB playoff media event to visit Phillips and Ransom in person with Hafley.
Which seems weird. Day visiting I get. But if it's true it's pretty much done with Hafley why you bringing him along? Generally once coaches come to a agreement with another team they stop recruiting for you even if they are on your staff till after the bowl season
