I expect we'll lose at least 4 DE's next year if not 5 (Lewis, Holmes, Hubbard, 1-2 transfers) so it's no surprise to me we're after so many DE's, especially with the way LJ likes to rotate them and use the rushmen package.

This is what I am thinking. Even assuming no attrition, you only have Bosa, Cooper, Berry, Slade and Young left. Plenty of talent but I see the DE position as the one in most clear need of depth and I think Oweh is a take with his upside.

I stand with Wade in thinking Oweh could maybe turn out the better player 4 years down the road, but just think there is no scenario we don't take Parsons. I can't pretend to know that as a fact, but Parsons is the beat defensive end in the country for a reason imo and the staff is knocking down the door there. But they also seem determined to get Oweh in as well, so I'm just speculating on how they fit them all in.

My god this kid is long, and from that video, he looks uber athletic. Geez, imagine what a year with Marrioti will do to this kid! Add another 15-20lbs on him with some strength and technique from LJsr, and what a talent. Just how in the world would you find a way to get PT for the DEs they're bringing in? A good problem indeed

IF they bring him in. And I just can't see taking both Parsons AND Oweh away from Ped State. But maybe.
