Jarrett Guarantano (QB Tennessee, transfer to Washington State)

GUARANTANO CHANGES VISIT DATE
I got a chance to talk a bit last night with 2016 quarterback Jarrett Guarantano, one of the top targets for Ohio State in the next recruiting cycle. The Bergen Catholic (Oradell, New Jersey) prospect, a 6-foot-4, 200 pounder, continues to be very interested in Ohio State and the Buckeyes are returning that interest.

With offers from Ohio State, Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma, Penn State, Rutgers, North Carolina and many others, he's one of the top players at his position nationally. He's only visited one school this fall (Oklahoma) and conventional wisdom seems to suggest he's very serious about the Sooners and the Buckeyes first and foremost among his suitors.

Guarantano, scheduled to visit Ohio State next weekend when they host Illinois, informed me that he's had a slight change of plans.

"I'll actually be visiting Ohio State on November 29th now," Guarantano told Eleven Warriors. "It works a bit better with my schedule."

Ohio State, of course, hosts Michigan in their annual showdown that day. An already impressive visitor list appears to be getting even bigger.
MID-SEASON JR HIGHLIGHTS (Impressive.)

Not sure he's not better then Gibson. same height/weight. Stronger arm, more accurate (15% diffrence in completion percentage but Gibson is playing alot tougher talent, however he is surrounded by alot better talent) and he seems to run past defenders just as well as Gibson. plus he's almost a 4.0 student at a private/prep school (3.97)

the fact he's got offers from Meyer, Saban and Bob Stoops with less then 20 HS starts says alot to me.

I can see why he would be at the top of our board, wow. Cannon for an arm, makes every throw on the field, and his intermediate passing ability is incredibly advanced...gotta love that even though he has a cannon, he can put some nice touch on the ball when he needs to. Really impressive pocket presence...very at ease moving around in the pocket and does not seem to ever panic. I also was pretty stunned on his running ability...I thought he was a pro-style guy all the way but he can book it when he gets up to speed and is pretty shifty. I like him a little over Haskins at this point after seeing him run...plus he has a few inches on Haskins it appears. Would LOVE to see a backfield of Guarantano and Walker down the road.
