Exactly.. I find it interesting that the reasons given why he turned down Ohio State is the depth chart... Tennessee's is arguably even worse since our big 3 (Brax, Cardale, JT) will all be gone by his So/RS FR year

Very true. They picked up 3 quality guys last year. We got 2. If it was about depth he should have gone to Rutgers.

Actually Barrett will be here for 2016 and 2017. So Guarantano would have been a RS Soph or Junior in 2018 before really having a shot at the starting job. It seems like that one extra year of waiting may have been the difference. Along with perhaps a bit more respect for Burrow/Gibson vs. the young Tennessee guys.
