On Wednesday, new information regarding the sexual assault case against Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston came to light. Here's what we know about the situation so far.

Funny how Hyde was suspended immediately for his alleged issues prior to the season. I wonder if Winston will play? Yes, yes he will.

A few of the students they put on the Sportscenter segment on the case don't sound too up to speed on the case. "Something seems fishy..." yeah, but it isn't from the complainant's side so far.

I think that is where a lot of us stand. When this first broke, I didn't see enough info to bench him. One has to let the process play out. At this point, it does look like that which was thrown at the fan has potential to stick.

FSU has a decision to make. I know what I'd do, but it will be interesting to see how it plays out. Clearly there are no winners here. At this point it's a matter of reducing the number of losers.

Same. There are so many BS rape/assault charges thrown at athletes, I actually have to resist the urge to presume it's a bullshit accusation. That being said, it is not looking very good for Jameis right now. Frankly I hate to see this type of stuff in any context but I really just want to watch football without the TMZ sideshow. Unfortunately, those days are long gone. In any event, not really sure how FSU should handle this so late in the season...if you bench him and it turns out the story was BS, then it would be a travesty...of course it would be a travesty in the converse situation. Hopefully there is some type of resolution soon.
