Am I the only one sick and tired of 20 year olds being called "kids" when they do something so utterly stupid?
I'm sure there are others, but I'm not one of them. I'm only 36, but young adults, especially ones still yet to live in the real world outside of the cocoon of protection that college campuses provide, are still kids for the most part. Not all of course, but especially athletes on scholarship. They're still growing up and transitioning into adulthood. Most of them haven't lived on their own, paid their own bills or even had to keep a job to eat. They may not be children, but they sure as shit aren't full-fledged grown-ups.

Agree with both to an extent... but it does annoy me when it's applied to stuff like this.
The only Winston incident I could see the "still kid" thing applied to was screaming obscenities in the Student Center. Everything else he's done/alleged to have done should be inexcusable by the age of 12.
Ironically, that's the only incident the AD really punished him for...
