Is it OK to be a fan of teams from different schools?

ok, I'll break this down as simply as possible.

rooting for different schools iin different sports is the EXACT same thing as:

  • rooting for the Russians in Olympic hockey
  • the Japs in the World baseball classic
  • the canadians in whatever is they're good at
  • some European people at the World Cup.
you're rooting for Communism!

Curling. I'm pretty sure BN27 roots for Canada in curling.

I've gotta call bull[censored] if you're going to extend this to every sport, pro and college. People can decide who to root for based on things other than location if they want.
I wasn't saying people can't root for whatever pro team they want, I'm just saying you don't see people picking random geographic teams that all suck-like the Indians/Lions/Timberwolves trifecta. If you see people w/ geographic variance in their pro affiliation, it is usually something like Cowboys/Lakers/RedSox, Steelers/Yankees, whatever. I suffer w/ the Reds and Bengals-you aren't going to see someone from Oregon pick that duo at random!
