8-2 win over the Royals tonight

Russ Branyan decided to finally show up and hit 2 HRs

2 game win streak, probably wont see many of these this year
We might be able to squeeze a two games win streak when we play Baltimore. Today are on par with Kansas City and Cleveland. Not sure but I think this might have been the first multi-home run game for the Indians this season

It was definitely the first HRs by a 1st baseman this year for the Tribe, which considering who plays first for most other teams, is really, really sad. They are entering stretch where they should be able to piece together some wins though...2 more with KC, 3 with Baltimore, a 2 game apefucking by Tampa, and then KC for 2, Cincy for 3, and the White Sox for 3. If they can go about 8-5 or even 9-4 in those 13 games (minus the TB games) they could get back towards .500.

and then they will play some real teams and probably go back to around .300 or so.

Well, they managed to lose to the Royals today, so no sweep. Valbuena needs to be jettisoned ASAP, he is fucking horrible. So does Huff, he's Jeremy Sowers with another 2-3 MPH. Buy hey, LaBusta got his second RBI of the season! And a double brought his SLG up to a robust .256! :groove:

I've found my stress levels are much lower after not watching or paying attention to the Indians so far this season. :banger:

Sucks, but I'm losing my interest in baseball so fast it's unbelievable. I don't think it has much to do with the Indians though.

I say we keep Choo Cabrera and maybe Carmona and just cut or trade everyone else loose and start over completely, that seems like a better option than just keep throwing a bunch of bums out and praying they somehow get better

its pretty fucking sad when Mr Scrap Heap Austin Kearns is your 2nd most productive offensive player

Huff is terrible, at least sowers managed to look decent in his first MLB go around before he got figured out by hitters, ive always said that Huff was just like him but other Indians fans came with "but he won 11 game" completely ignoring the 5.61 ERA and 1.56 WHIP

Masterson is a middle reliever at best, they are just ruining him by continuing to throw him out as a starter

Talbot will eventually be figured out IMO, you can only walk more hitters than you strikeout for so long before you start getting teed off on

Westbrook is just clinging on, hes got almost nothing left

the bullpen is gas can city

Sizemore doesnt even seem interested out there anymore, its sad because he had so much promise, but he has declined so fast it isnt even funny

Hafner....laughable, overpaid and horrible

Peralta is a travesty in the field and certainly doesnt make up for that with his bat

Russ Branyan isnt doing anything long term, 35 years old with a history of injury troubles

Valbuena.....horrible, I thought after last year he may improve and be a decent player, boy was I wrong there, anyone think we can ger Frankie G back? the return we got for him (Valbuena and Gas Can Joe Smith) is laughable now

actually, you just have to hold on until june so cleveland can start bringing up the AAA guys. Hopefully the days of lou marson and luis valbuena will not be much longer.

also, what is going on with david huff? his velocity has decreased in each of his last 3 starts. his stuff is decent when he's throwing 92 and locating. but when he needs a wind at his back to hit 89, he's useless.

Santana and some of the other guys are worth looking forward too, but it's a little disturbing how awful LaPorta and Valbuena have been. Brantley also, though he's still pretty young, whereas LaPorta is 25 and should be able to drive in more than two runs and slug .256 six weeks into the season.

I've always viewed him as a #4 starter at best. But, there is something wrong. He's been especially awful his past two outings.
