CLEVELAND -- The Indians today made another move in the bullpen.

Lefthander Mike Gosling has been promoted from Class AAA Columbus and righthand reliever Greg Aquino has been designated for assignment.

Gosling, 28, was signed by the Indians on June 5 and sent to Columbus after being released by the Minnesota Twins on June 2.

In three appearances at Columbus he allowed one run in 8.0 innings. Gosling was 7-1 with a save and a 4.37 ERA for the Twins Class AAA Rochester team before his release. He has appeared in 43 Major League games, including nine starts, and has a 3-4 record with a 4.79 ERA. With Cincinnati in 2007 he was 2-0 with a 4.91 ERA.

Aquino made 10 appearances this year for the Indians, going 1-2 with a 4.50 ERA.
