THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

CLEVELAND -- Kenny Lofton did not need to use his fleet feet to drive in the winning run for the Indians last night, so he showed them off after the run scored.
While his teammates chased him, hoping to deliver the happy head-slaps that have become the customary celebration of a dramatic win, Lofton danced away. The 6-5 win over the Seattle Mariners was exhausting enough without any bruises.
The Indians rallied for two runs in the seventh inning to take the lead, then rallied again in the bottom of the ninth to win it. The bullpen, usually so effective, blew a pair of leads, necessitating the late offense.
