Holy shit. Just closed on a place in North Carolina this week. Was down at the house to prep for move in and met the neighbors. It’s very clear that the War of Northern Aggression is not over.

I was asked who my ‘driver’ is and I guess that TaylorMade is not an acceptable answer.

Sam Hornish, a NWO boy, was barely acceptable and that’s only because he lives / lived in my home town.

You should have seen the looks I got when I said I follow GT3 and F1…

An honest run down of how IU has been this season. I stand corrected. Cignetti is just beating opponents handily. I still dont think IU will beat OSU and i could see OSU winning by at least 2 TDs.

I think they are a legitimate team too. With their win AT Oregon, they do have the better win. I expect both Ohio State and IU to be undefeated going in to Indianapolis.

Not at all over. I was a visiting prof at UNC. We took some trips into the rural NC hills. The wife loves markets and we stopped at one advertised along a road, with a dirt driveway up a hill to the house. As we began to walk up the steps to the porch, an old woman stepped out with a shotgun.

"Where you from, suh."
"The deep south, ma'am."
"Where?"
"Cape Town"
"That in Alabama?
"A lot further south, ma'am."
"Then, you and your missus and child are welcome. Can't be too careful, we had Yankees here last year. General Lee slept here more than once."
