Game Thread Indiana at tOSU, Sat. Nov. 23, 12pm ET, FOX

Not trying to put bad juju out there, but am I the only one worried and Jeremiah Smith's ankle? It was an odd ending to a great play. He came back out for the play just curious the extent of the injury. Hopeful the 18 year old can spring back better than this 38 year old.
He was back on the field a few plays later running a WR sweep so I’d imagine he’ll be sore today but by Saturday he’ll be fine.

Nebraska in general was an aberration. Against Indiana they had 7 of 11 drives end on downs or a turnover. OSU was then 1 of 10 on 3rd downs the next week against them. Not sure either happens again in 50 tries.

The only thing I took away from Michigan v. Indiana is that even though they suck as a team, they're the most talented Indiana had played and it showed some limitations of their offense.

Yep. Physical game the week before, had to travel across the country for it. Several injuries they had to figure out.

Tressel teams had a couple inexplicable losses and closer games the week after playing Wisconsin.

Reminds me of how we handled Sparty in 2021 when we had a 49-0 lead by half time.

Were we really that much better than them? No probably not, but some times things just go your way and then momentum takes care of it.

Like sometimes growing up I remember playing baseball… there were those rare games where everyone in the lineup was hitting the cover off the ball. That doesn’t mean you’ll always do that but sometimes it’s just your day.

Hopefully we have that kind of game the next few weeks going into the post season.

They have the #1 run defense in the country lol…

Now they haven’t played anyone either but they have shut down teams like good teams should vs inferior teams.
If you watch Urban’s film study on BTN, there is absolutely nothing to laugh at concerning their defense. Next level shit up front, and Kamara is going to be a major problem.

This is the biggest game in Indiana football history.
This is the biggest game in your history? Yikes.
Is this game in Ohio State's Top 50?

They're overlooking NW because their biggest game in program history is next week.
Haha - like I said, this might not be in Ohio State's Top 50. Certainly not in the Top 20.

Yeah that MSU team had an awful pass defense (gave up ~325 ypg passing) and ran into an OSU team with an NFL QBs and WRs. Things still had to align like a bad fumble and some other things.

Hell it's not even top 100 probably maybe on the fringe of that.

It's not even top 50 this century.
