Indiana at tOSU, November 21st, Noon on Fox

Quite a few things for the team to improve upon after today. On a bright note, had anyone told me the following in early September:

  • There will be a season
  • At the halfway point, Ohio State will be undefeated
  • They'll have beat their highest (top 10) ranked opponent by a touchdown
  • tsun and ped will be a combined 1-7

I would have jumped all over that shit.

Ultimately the buck stops with Day. I think he needs to spend more time on the defense. The offense is actually championship level if you ask me.

What I'm seeing is that the opposing offenses are making adjustments at halftime to what our defense is doing and our defensive staff is not capable of further adjustment. That's why these games are so annoying. Jump out ahead, and the D can't shut the other team down after they make adjustments. I think Coombs may have been Peter-principled up a little bit too high.

We might be able to hang with Clemson, but Alabama will destroy this defense. Also, with the D playing this bad after a quarter to two, they are very susceptible to an upset in the next 4 games.

He was a position coach for all of those players and none of those players were apart of giving up 500 yards passing in a loss let alone a win.

Day should give Leonard from Wisky 3 million to come here and call it good.

He was a coach in 2013 and 2017 when our secondary was torched many times.

And he still coaches DB's. I agree Combs may not work out as a DC but that was a bad take

When they lined up in shotgun i tossed my remote across the room. I do not and will not ever understand why coaches do that shit. It’s not just here, that is across the country. It’s just fucking mind boggling.
Against an elite defense I get it. Against Indiana whom you’ve already run for 300 yards on shit makes no sense. Just staggeringly dumb.

Well you are making my point for me lol....

At this pace what's your guys honest take? Keep him or no? I would say most definitely not.

Let's be real we probably win out and that includes in the title game. So if we keep getting worked on defense vs Illinois and both the Michigan schools then there should be a defensive shake up.

Thank you!!! I posted similar thoughts before this game about not adjusting and here we are yet again. This staff has the ability to game plan for the week but damn once a team adjusts we have literally zero answers.

If I'm ryan day I ask Kevin Wilson to watch our defense and let them know at the half how he'd adjust.
