Indiana at tOSU, November 21st, Noon on Fox

We beat a top-10 team. Most people making the picks don't watch the full games and absorb as much as we do as fans. Alabama has had some clunkers this year. So has Clemson. I don't see a dominant team. Maybe we slip a spot or two, but I don't think we tumble.

The only poll that matters hasn't even been released yet.

They don't coast they just dont anticipate adjustments
So of it is clearly coasting. We got lazy on D and had Db's jogging out there at times. Mostly it seems like we aren't deep as we usually are in the DB room. The lack of practaice really hurt the younger guys and it looks like they don't trut the non-starters in the backfield. Usually the last 10 years or so we regualrly play 5-6 DB's with the first team. With our 3rd corner getting hurt it seems like the top 4 get 95% of snaps now

And I can agree with that. But, it shouldn't be as bad as it is right now. I think IU has a tremendous staff, so maybe we don't see this kind of game again, but getting torched like that in the secondary is alarming...fucked up year, or not.

I don't know, maybe I'm off base, but I saw Penix making some really good throws. Combine that with pick routes and holding on the DL and most secondaries will look bad.

Do you really think IU is a top 10 team????????

Close to it. Yeah, it's Indiana, blah blah, but I don't see very many teams that are that successfully aggressive on defense and can pass that well.

Florida has more talent, but a dogshit defense. Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, OSU, A&M...who else? UC, maybe BYU.

I mean bad compared to who though I guess is my question? Clemson’s defense has been sliding backwards and gave up 47 to the Domers, and the Domer offense isn’t THAT good. Domers gave up 31 to a worse team than Indiana in BC. Bama’s looking like they may be rounding into form but hard to tell because of the offenses they’ve played recently. There’s honestly nothing I’ve seen to make me believe OSU couldn’t go toe to toe with any of the top 4. Everyone is heavily flawed.

No. Just no.

We have had 59 practices to 4 games now which is more than any year and on top of that? Our defense is playing one of the best passing games in the country ever day in practice. Yet here we are....

This isnt practice, players, or experience... this is not adjusting to the tune of 62 points between Indiana and Ruthers.

Fuck it.

They won.

Win The Game, win The B!G. Let the chips fall where they may after that.

If 2020 has taught anyone anything, I'd have hoped it taught people to enjoy the wins and the moment because not a goddamned thing is promised from here.

Yeah this is all I can take from games at this point. Hope you just get to play a game every weekend. Maybe look sharper if they can play four straight and figure some things out.

Indiana's a good team, and it was looking like a blowout for about 10 minutes. Just wish they were able to put more of these games away when they had the opportunity.
