After reading through his profile, seems like a solid hire. Nothing flashy, but good to have a dedicated ST coach. Hopefully can be a decent recruiter as well.

Wish they could've gotten Raymond or Buckley. This will be the last hire, correct? I guess depending on if Stud moves on.

Seems that way. Seems really meh from where we were to him though. Would have liked going after Buckley or another highly respected secondary guy. But it seems like they wanted Raymond and if not him wanted a special teams guy as opposed to another secondary coach.

So... Matt Barnes...
Seems like Hafley will be the man for DBs... Matt will almost be like a GA for him that can also recruit, and good experience to be the man with STs.
We could use an energy guy since losing Coombs and hopefully he can step into position and recruiting.
Seems like an OJT opportunity for him as far as recruiting and DBs.

I can dig it if he's got the work ethic.
