I really don't. Just tell me what IDK, BFF, and rubies is. I'm pretty certain it is derogatory, but I still want to know.

rubies are the red things you are accumulating in droves....

IDK stands for I don't know. It's internet speak in same vein as the "word" sux.....

BFF stands for best friend forever. again this is internet speak used by 14 year olds in chat rooms and in texting.

Please explain...what's IDK, BFF, and rubies?

BTW to everyone else: Sux can be used perfectly fine since it is phonetic and the point is to communicate - obviously many of you do understand exactly what I mean.

On the other hand, I don't understand IDK, BFF, and rubies...
Get this kid some Clearasil please. He's growing inflamed zits at an astonishing rate. :tongue2:

Illinois is not rotating off the schedule any time soon so we better learn to do a better job against athletic QBs.
Remember how much trouble Northwestern created with their better spread offenses?
I certainly think this will be one of those dates circled on the 2008 schedule, a game the staff should have little difficulty getting the team "up" to play.

On to The Game though.

OK. Thanks. I see that I have received alot of demerits. I'm really not trying to piss off the masses here. I guess I just have a totally different view than most of the people on this forum. I am a true Buckeye Fan, but the team didn't play their hearts out yesterday. Watch the game again - you'll see slow off the field, slow on the field, perplexed looks, molasses runs. Yeah, they had a bad game day. I would have liked to see a bad day with just a little more energy and desire. It would make the loss a bit more palatable. The Illini are not that big, not that fast, and not that athletic, regardless of what people think. On a more desire-filled day, the score would have been lop-sided in our favor, as it has been all season long.

Molasses runs? 2 girls 1 cup??

Trust me every single one of those kids on the field yesterday DESIRED to win that game and did their very best. However Illinois was just better yesterday.

Give them credit, they came in to the Shoe and TOOK it.

I'm sorry, I really don't see yesterday's loss that way.

Ugh. Gaterubet mentioned this before and might have been watching this game with a smirk on his face. We got Zooked....

Nah man....was watching the Tebow show most of the night, and flipping back to your game from time to time. I did see the last three minutes though, and the freaking Juice first downs...that had to be agonizing.

At least know that the zook effect, while sometimes deadly, is not a constant.

You know what really pisses me off
1. When i seen the thread who do we want to play in the National Championship! My reaction to that thread was "Dayum we still have games left to play"
Beating penn State and Wisky did not give us the right to claim staus on the NC.
2. The Media haters are gloating today over the Buckeyes loss.

listen to what the team says

In the days and weeks to come, not a single member of the OSU team will say that they played their hearts out and did their best. Tressel will not say that the team played their heart out and it was a hard fought game and that it was a "good" loss.

i would be great with an 11-1 season, rose bowl and win over michigan..that being said realistically i think it is going to be a 10-2 season with an outback bowl bid....just think osu has too many unknowns with health and pending suspensions to call saturday a win
This is the second time this subject has been introduced into the thread - where is anyone hearing of pending suspensions? Where are you hearing of it - and I mean from a credible source?

In the Big Ten picture, a competitive Illinois is nothing but good for the conference. Using SEC logic for a moment. The fact that the 2 best teams in the Big Ten got beat yesterday means we are a very competitive, tough
conference and should be given consideration for the BCS game even with a loss or even 2.
