Listen up, turd-brained scUM! The Buckeyes aren't jealous because you put up over 60 on any team, and they aren't scared of your team.

And there in lies the problem. Good defense is something you generally can count on week to week. Play good defense and you have a chance in most games. When you have to bet on the offense scoring an outrageous number of points, you're going to lose that bet a lot of times, and it may be against teams like Purdue. Yeah, you may beat some great teams, but you also allow bad teams to hang with you. Offense just can never be as consistent as a good defense because of any number of factors. Consistent, winning football always starts on the defensive side of the ball. But I think most M*ch*g*n fans know that, they just can't take their eyes off that 60+ points on the scoreboard.
But that's just my imo...

Michigan had 678 total yards and 5 turnovers. I would like to know if a team has ever had 600+ yards and 5 turnovers in a game.
I thought Illinois was suppose to have a good defense according to some people. My ass that was a good defense. Besides Bowling Green, that might have been the worst defense Michigan has faced all year.

This game was basically the essence of why the 2 point conversion rule exists in the 3rd overtime.
You have 2 defenses that don't have a fucking prayer of getting a stop for 3/4 plays in a row, so the NCAA was smart enough to realize that people would be sick of watching this bullshit after the the 2nd OT..and kindly instituted a rule requiring 1 of the defenses to only get 1 stop.

No one said it was silly to show emotion after a win. Its silly to act like you just won a championship of some sort when in fact it was a regular season B10 game that improved the teams record to 2-3 in conference.
Now if you want really fucking silly look no further than creating a non existent argument so you can defeat it to make yourself feel better. That is fucking silly.

You laugh, but one of my two scUM fan friends actually said those exact words Friday night! I questioned him about DickRod, Robinson (the D coord.), and the defense expecting a somewhat level-headed response. I got nothing about Robinson, the defensive woes are because of youth, defensive recruiting problems are because of (get this) UM admissions department, and DickRod should get an extension.
