You are aware that after [strike] this season [/strike] Saturday's game DickWad's defense [strike] will have [/strike] has already given up more points in three years than Bo's did in a decade (70's), aren't you?

70 to '79 seasons - 978 total points allowed (not counting the 10 points USC scored in the Rose Bowl on 1-1-1970).

Rich Rod Points Against Accumulated
'08 - 347
'09 - 330 (677 accumulated)
'10 - 305 (982 accumulated) through 9 games

Richrod has given up more points in 33 games than Bo did in 115 games in those 10 seasons.

another year older, another year better, right?
which means no mouton, banks and possibly no martin.

Guys like avery, Roh will certainly improve with age. Fitzgerald would fit here if he were playing more consistently.

Kovacs' limitations won't change with age. Vinopal is an upgraded model of kovacs, with better quickness and better fundamentals but still limited physically.

I don't see floyd improving that much, compared to a guy like avery.

They have two true freshmen at dt to take the reins from mike martin, and both are projects in technique and fitness.

Um still has a serious lack of depth and talent at lb. They have plenty of hybrid athletes to play spur or hybrid positions, but don't have many pure lbs.

From Fiutak's Calvacade of Whimsy

Shhhh. If you listen quietly, you can hear the Michigan coaching staff not seeing that Illinois is going to run Mikel Leshoure in the wheel route AGAIN - For those of you who think that football can't be interesting without a physical style of play and hard-hitting tackling, you didn't see Michigan's 67-65 triple overtime thriller over Illinois. This is the game that'll be used as an example of how much fun it can be when the official switch to Flag Football is made in 2016, once studies are complete on the effects of tackle football on cognitive function.
