If you don't wear scarlet on Saturday, are you a jerk?

I would like to wear red, but it is going to be cold.

My only warm jacket is blue.

I also have a yellow scarf and gloves.

But seriously. Not that many people have red coats.

I have never worn a coat to a game.

I have worn a T-shirt, a long sleeve shirt, a hooded sweatshirt, then my scarlet jersey. (This includes walking to and from the stadium to and from my house.)

Not that hard to layer and stay warm.

Personally, if you have red/scarlet - cool. If not.. whatever.

What matters most? Scream until you're blue in the face. Constant noise. Even you old bags. Place needs to be nuts. Like State Penn 02, Texas05, scUM 06 type nuts.

No, but can I just say that grown men who dress up to go to college football games are about a 9.5 on the Loser Scale.
You could just say that, but you'd be wrong. Do you sit quietly and knit while the ball is in play? Maybe talk about your soap operas and complain the crowd is too boisterous?

I bought a red "puffy" mountaineering jacket just so I could have more red on the mountains.

You can find a red coat if you want too

If the students want to dress up, that's fun for them and the atmosphere. It's to be expected.

When 50-year-old losers show up painting their faces and show their ugly mugs on national television, it's an embarrassment.

So you are very happy that Orlas King, the Neutron Man, is no longer around and embarrassing you. You believe people like Woody impersonator Roger Thomas should grow up, or no longer be permitted near a Skull session, let alone a Buckeye football game. I'm in my mid-fifities, and I enjoyed fans like these two were / are. There are dozens like them at every game and all of the people in my age group that I know also like(d) when these fans "perform."
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Everyone else knows whose opinion, at least on this subject, is in the majority. :wink2:
