I have $2000, buy me a TV...

i personally feel like shit because a couple months ago i saw a 60" panasonic projection widescreen HDTV at walmart and it was originally 2600 bucks and they had it discounted to 1150(floor model?)......but i am a poorass college student so even though i was tempted i just knew it was impossible with only a little over 100 bucks in my name.:(

Samsung: Dead Pixel Policy
by samsung0108 ,Jan 10 '07

Pros: Brand reputation, styling, and price point.
Cons: Dead pixel policy.

This product I purchased a couple of months ago (HP-S4253)is a very stylish plasma set that would be a welcomed addition to any home entertainment system. Sharp lines of the frame as well as a glossy black finish convey a sense of bold elegance. Overall, I am very satisfied with this plasma set, except for one thing - Samsung's "dead pixel" policy.

One word of caution to the "average consumer". Please be advised that if you only have one "dead pixel" (no matter how noticeable/annoying it may be)Samsung's current policy will not remedy the defect unless the plasma set has a "grouping" of "dead pixels".

Yes, I am aware of that.

No problems to date.
