Radiohead's next album...

And...they're back. Radiohead have just announced their eighth full-length record, The King of Limbs. Billed as the world's first "Newspaper Album," an extravagantly packaged version of the record will be issued on May 9; however, the music itself will effectively be issued on Saturday, February 19 when digital downloads become available to those who made pre-orders...

The King of Limbs will be released by TBD Records in North America, XL in the UK, and Hostess Entertainment in Asia. UPDATE: The album will be out March 29 in North America and March 28 everywhere else. It'll be available on CD, 12" vinyl, and digital download.

The release of Radiohead's new album got pushed forward to today. It's available digitally right now through their official site.

As for me... I want the CD, but there's no pre-order option for it, just the deluxe "newspaper album". I don't want to pay twice, so I'll be waiting for the CD to come out in March

I bought Arcade Fire's "funeral" and "suburbs". So far I've only had the time to listen to the first 5 songs of funeral, all I can say is wow. It's unbelievably catchy and all-around just good. And this is coming from a grunge fan. I'm excited to finish up the albums throughout the week.

For my money, Funeral is the best...solid album from start to finish.

Funeral is definitely better. The Suburbs is great as well, but I like it mostly for how I relate to it. I don't know if I'd like it as much if I were a few years younger.
