There are a lot of raw nerves out there right now. However, I had a good day. I live in SEC territory and I don't have a problem telling folks what I think about this (the fact that I am outspoken in my disgust for what happened actually surprises them - I think they expect me (or want me) to defend it). Ohio State fans can try to split hairs, distinguish what happened and justify things (at least in part), but the truth is that Tressel screwed up big time. We need to accept it and move on. Ohio State is bigger than Jim Tressel. I appreciate all he has done, but he made a big mistake and he (and we Buckeye fans) will pay for it. The nation is having a field day right now because Tressel made it easy for them. Move on, enjoy basketball and your families. This will pass (eventually). Hell, the Cooper years are a distant (bad) memory. Ohio State fans may think we are better, but most fans don't see any difference between Ohio State football and the evil SEC. Its a bitter pill to swallow.

Nope. Need the wood for burning innocents at the stake.

Hell with that. We've got a lawyer emitting a rather large radar signal boys and girls!!

Nothing can bring a fragmented group of humans together like a public stoning/crucification/burning at the stake of a lawyer.

I'm still digging... tried the FBI and Ohio Supreme court records. No joy... yet!

They guy who you're saying is a good friend of JT can't even spell his name correctly. Are we sure he's really a good friend or just a big tOSU football fan.

Isn't the point that the source was a former Buckeye player who would be in some bother for tipping off Tressel?

Ironically after the shit I've received as a Buckeye fan for the past 5 years, it's funny that my reaction to this issue by other teams fans is, "Hata's gonna hate"

I used to get so defensive about it. Now I don't care what they think. We're winning without abusing the system (i.e. buying players) so F'em
