I've read this a couple of times today. It is not true.

"I am sorry and disappointed this happened. At the time the situation occurred, I thought I was doing the right thing," Tressel said. "I understand my responsibility to represent Ohio State and the game of football. I apologize to any and all of the people I have let down. I will grow from this experience."

Yeah, I feel you. Because, like, fans of all the other schools are all like, "really, everyone else is better than we are. We suck. If only we were better, you know, like Ohio State."

What bunkum. Fans of every school puff themselves up to pretend they are the best; it's not our fault if the only ones who are believed are Buckeye fans.

Absolutely.

It's like when someone's wife takes a lover on the side for 8 or 9 months, breaks off the illicit relationship, then later confesses to her hubby because he finds her hidden stash of love letters. It doesn't really count as adultery since she didn't admit to the affair until after it was over.

Timing is everything.
