Should be fun...would love for it to break the streak of 100 degree days here but its not likely and if it comes up through houston will only make it worse here.

oh wow didn’t realize we’re gonna likely break our streak of 100 degree days unless the path of #14 changes
High temperatures in Austin today climb to 103°, our 20th-straight day of triple-digit heat, tying the third most consecutive days on record. The current forecast projects the all-time record of 27 days will be in jeopardy late next week, but a tropical storm or hurricane could break the streak.

Man, I don't know how you think 100 degrees in Texas is livable. I grew up where it was common to top a hundred during the day, but it was bone dry air and because of the elevation would cool down into the 50s at night.

100 and humid during the day and 80 and humid overnight, and there would be only one solution.

Cali is averaging about 100+ each day. Compounding that are the many numerous lots of fires around the state. Where we live, there is a overcast all around, from the smoke particulates. Dampens the heat, but breathing conditions are not good at all. Our county is issuing 'stay inside' warnings for the rest of the week. Think we'll head to Cambria next week for some cool, clean air.
