Tracking fairly north, something to be aware of, as normally something in west jefferson would not threaten powell residents, etc.

Wife's sister and one of her aunts live right next to Hilliard Bradley....thankfully the storm weakened a bit righ as it got to West Jeff

Last night we had a bizarre 5-10 minute squall of 60 mph gusts and minor hail. Just enough to take 25 feet of secondary trunk off of my silver maple and knock down a bunch of limbs and a few large old trees in my neighborhood. Of course, I’d been on the fence on whether to get it pruned this spring or in the fall and chose poorly.

That's because the storm was a sheared mess....all the squalls and stuff were east of the main storm system.

yep, but was still weird to be in eye-like conditions despite me never being in the eye.
seriously, most of the afternoon yesterday, we had absolute zero wind or rain.
just a sunny humid day.
