Sepulveda Pass. When I moved to LA in the 70s on my very first day I had to drive my friend's car from the hotel he worked at in Beverly Hills to his apartment in Van Nuys. Over Sepulveda Pass (I 405) in rush hour traffic. In a ' 56 Dodge with three-on-the-tree. White knuckling it a 5 mph.

Holy cow, you aren't kidding. That's brisk! We're at about 4500 feet elevation, so low down here is about 10 dehrees warmer, but at least it will get into the 50s. Stay warm!
