basically the whole state of Louisiana has shut down.
still in the 50s right now, but roads will be closed tomorrow, so I get a day off of work.

haven't seen a snowflake hit the ground down here since '89, so I still have my doubts we get any.
next town north might get a dusting at most.

fucking retards around here are treating it like a hurricane. store shelves are empty.

gas station around corner from my house is completely out of liquor. never seen that before in my life. not even leading up to Katrina.

damn coonasses don't know how to act when the weatherman says ice might fall from the sky.

Dude you should know better... I grew up in Alabama.. its a conspiracy between the weathermen and the grocery store owners... they say might have snow... the stores are cleared the weather guys get a kickback.

on a side note... can anyone in their right mind here tell me they would take a flyover (overpass) that goes up 100+ ft in the air when they are predicting freezing rain/ice... and the shit is actually falling.... the stupidity of people in this area amaze me sometimes...

side note we've got a nice "wintry mix" of ice/freezing rain/sleet/snow ... I made it into work before the worst hit my area, something like 80+ wrecks in a 2 hour period including a 20 car pile up... @pnuts34 stay safe my friend especially if you live up north
