I was thinking about buying a 1/2 car for the new year. Any recommendations?

It was my grandparents place, and my grandpa was the ultimate do-it-yourselfer. So it was one car, sometimes a boat, and something that looked like this:

Then my grandparents passed away, my wife and I bought the house from my mom and my aunt, wife pumped out some babies, and now it usually just looks like this:

Oh, so sorry. My brother (lives in Worthington) shoveled two feet of snow this week end. I, on the other hand, was in Los Angeles watching daughter compete in college swim meet. And had to put on sun block because of the rays and heat. (no shorts in suitcase). Oh well. Here in the San Joaquin valley, though we had an hour and half frost delay until we could get out on the course (thee days in a row!). Now you know why real estate in California is more expensive than Ohio....the good news is that Ahia drivers/people know how to handle the weather/snow, because you do it every year, a lot. Here in Cali, when something comes down from the sky, everyone freaks and panics. Only good drivers are the ones that ski, because if you ski you have to make a decision to go to the snow, and you don't if you don't like driving in it......good luck guys, see you in the spring.

Are you sure you've been to Ohio?

Almost all that snow was rained away mid-week, but something worse replaced it. I'm contemplating making a trip outside later regardless...to scream at my 80+ year-old neighbor. She has a daily regimen of long walks. That's great. But I just looked out to see her coming home from one now, in our -5F actual, -40F wind chill temps. She's from Russia, but c'mon...I don't think she was from Siberia. Stubborn little Ruskie. :worry:*

*I know it's supposed to denote "worry" but it looks about right for hypothermia, too.
