[censored]ing family, who decides to live in this [Mark May]hole?!?! HONESTLY! Once I'm finished with college, I'm going to attempt to move out west though.
Well let me tell you something first because there's a big difference between living out here and living in Ohio. Let me explain.
Living in Ohio is like being married to that to your high school sweetheart. She loves you, she respects you, she makes you happy....Sure, she has her moods some days but who doesn't? The two of you grow old together, raise a family, have grandchildren, you retire from a good job and live out your golden years happy.
Living out west is entirely different. Living out here is like meeting that girl that you don't want to introduce to your mother. She cheats, she blows your money, she gives you the clap...But it's the best sex you've ever had and she can suck a golf ball through a garden hose so you stick with her.

Where do I sign up? What you said about Ohio, is one of the main reasons I don't want to live here. I feel stuck in Dayton, in particular. I see people I graduated HS with getting pregnant, having kids, and getting married and thinking to myself... These people are stuck here. I don't want that!

Well then do it. Make sure you get that degree first though.

That's the next step for me. Basically starting over in the Fall with college, taking care of the Gen Ed. classes at Sinclair, then either to Ohio State, Wright State, or BGSU for my degree.

That's cool. Don't lose sight of your goal, keep it you're number 1 priority. They'll be plenty of time for fun afterward.

That wasn't my issue the first time around. I felt stuck with the major I picked (I now know that isn't the case), wasn't committed what-so-ever, and just gave up.

Now I feel like I can't fail. I'm just ready to take it on.

I know the feeling. It's like having to watch a long boring movie because your mother wants you too and as hard as you may try to pay attention just end up spacing out the whole time. It's important to love what you're doing, it almost always assures (insures, ensures, not sure which word would be more proper) success.

Yeah, I like Graphic Design, but only on a personal basis, not professional. Glad I didn't make the mistake to keep doing that shit. Still haven't quite decided what I want to do, but I'm getting there. Just ready to get the gen ed's out of the way.
