How does work make you feel today?

Big project at work. Here's how the planning went down:

Boss: "We need you to come up with a plan for blah blah blah"

Me: "Ok. Here's my plan"

Boss: "That sucks. Let's do it this way"

Me: "That makes no sense. The only way I'm going to do that is if you make m..."

Boss: "I'm making you lololololol"

That was a month ago. Project is nearing completion. Today...TODAY he comes up and says "Don't get all pissed off, but go ahead and do it your way lololololol"

I knew a person like that when I worked for the State of Ohio. After the 2nd time I got stuck next to him in a meeting I had to say something. I pulled him aside after the meeting was over and told him to at least put deodorant on every morning because of how bad he stunk. He thanked me since he did not realize his own stench. After that day, he smelled like a bottle of Brut. It was better than his BO, but not much.

He's aware of it. He occasionally douses himself in cologne to try to hide it.

Let's just say I would be creating an international incident if I said anything--I did so once (with another person who had the same problem) and was soundly reamed out for it.

At least he didn't come up today and say "YOU IDIOT! Why aren't you doing [proceeds to regurgitate your original plan as though it's his own]?"

 That's hilarious because my immediate sup came up after I talked to the big boss and said "I think I'm gonna change this up a bit. Let's do it this way. I was thinking about it and the way YOU did it doesn't make a lot of sense." The way he wanted to do it was my original plan. I gave him a copy of the diagram I drew up. I made copies. I dated them. I said "You mean just go back to MY original plan?" "Ye..uhm...yeah, go ahead and do that". Now walk away dick breath.

Did he trip over the tatters of his dignity?

He has none. At all. There was something he told me I was required to do during our peak season. I can't remember what it was...something inconsequential tho, I'm sure. I told him I wasn't going to do it. The next day and every day after I got the following email...

Kyle,

Please do the thing we talked about yesterday. Please. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

Feeling good after a very long week. Got many things caught up, and finally got the big-wigs to see that one of our offices is in dire need of leadership change that I have been pushing for over the past year.

Looking forward to completely blanking out on work related stuff for the weekend so I can dive back into home improvements.

Day started off not so good when I looked at bad news that wasn't work-related that pretty much ruined my day then and there...didn't have a terribly bad load at work, but I definitely didn't feel like being there tonight. Thankfully the person I closed with was pretty cool and had some good discussions during our hour-long "break."

Just had a meeting with the big boss. He informed me I would be moving to the new warehouse despite the client I've worked for for three years is staying at this one. Now I need to figure out what my options are for unemployment and start a job search. FML
