I am on the opposite of the spectrum as I was let go earlier last month (Reduction in Force)....here is to obtaining a new job before my job search benefits run out......:frown2:

2 more days and then I'm out of there for good. Lots of shady shit going on but there's nothing I can do about it and it's starting to effect my mental health. Sometimes it's better to just leave. I'll be OK, I don't owe a dime to anybody and I have a pretty good cushion. I'm going to take my time, enjoy my summer and hopefully find something that I enjoy like I used to enjoy this job until the scumbags took over.

Every other department in the building has weekday leads and weekend leads. Weekday leads outrank weekend leads. I haven't had a weekend lead since...October maybe. Dude that kinda sorta filled in on the weekends for me quit on Friday. So I'm back to working six or seven days a week. If this place were as busy on the weekends as it is during the week, I'd be all about getting some ot. But it's not...either is BP. So on weekdays when it's not too busy, I can read and post all day. This is fucking boring. I'm not really bitching...I just wish there were shit to do. I came in at 5:30 this morning, and sent the whole weekend crew home by 10:30, in hopes that it would create some work for me to do. Negative. Anyone close to Pataskala that has a weapon and wouldn't mind putting me out of my misery?

Folks know the beard would just deflect the bullet - and then you'd get pissed off. Sending your crew home so you could sit at the terminal on Romper Room was the right call.

Might be close to landing another job. Now would be a good time. The new guy at the desk beside mine only bathes on the weekend. I wish I were exaggerating. By Wednesday each week, it's pretty unpleasant.

Worst part is, he came in today already reeking of armpit. This bodes ill for the rest of the week.

I knew a person like that when I worked for the State of Ohio. After the 2nd time I got stuck next to him in a meeting I had to say something. I pulled him aside after the meeting was over and told him to at least put deodorant on every morning because of how bad he stunk. He thanked me since he did not realize his own stench. After that day, he smelled like a bottle of Brut. It was better than his BO, but not much.
