I think osualum82 has alluded to Haw being on an "unofficial" suspension. He made it sound as if both Tressel and Haw are being a little stuborn with one another and that they both need to give in a little to put this behind us.What does it say that Haw isn't seeing the field at RB? Is Wells truely better already, or does Haw not have his shit together yet?
According to JT on his own call-in show on 1460AM -- at least after deciphering the JT-speak -- Haw was (obviously) 'demoted' after the marijuana citation earlier this summer. With Pittman and Wells securing the #1 and #2 spots following Haw's demotion, and Schnitker claiming the short-yardage role, Haw felt he was the odd man out of a suddenly crowded backfield and didn't take care of what he needed to in order to get back up the depth chart. In other words, being embarrassed and miserable after his mistake, and feeling like it was a hopeless situation to get back into the rotation, Haw gave up on himself and mailed it in at practice. What does it say that Haw isn't seeing the field at RB? I hope he sees it and does something about it. There's no reason BS should be toting the rock anymore. It's bad enough that he's not productive with the ball in his hands and then you factor in two TO's inside the five. We need to have another back ready. Pittman looked great last week but can he hold up over the course of the season running like that? Wells isn't an inside runner. Haw is the only other option.Either Haw is seeing the window of opportunity is open for the #2 job with Schnitker developing fumblitis
