Heat vs Celtics - Eastern Conference Final

Clearly, according to another thread in this forum, Dr. Evil of the NBA is doing his thing to set up a game seven in Miami. It couldn't possibly be that Miami is, unfortunately, kicking the Celtics' asses tonight.

*sigh* :ohwell:

I'm afraid Boston squandered their opportunity to win this thing tonight. For them to go back to Miami and win again seems highly improbable, but I'll be watching just the same. After all, I thought they would go out in five so I'll be hoping they can surprise me again.

Fuck the Heat.

The Celtics were always one of my least favorite teams in pro sports until this series. It's stupid how much I'm rooting for them to win. I feel dirty until I remember who they're playing.

I almost forgot about the Heat's little introduction ceremony. I can't believe Lebron used to be my favorite player. What a fucking douche.

Who knows what Lebron will show show up in game 7, but I will say he did seem more emotionless than I have ever seen. If he ever stops giving a fuck what people think about him and just plays you will see more nights like last night.

Seriously.

I try to refrain from blaming officiating too much in most sports, but the nba is a different animal. How anybody could watch those first two games and not, at least, question it is beyond me.

It was so bad that they've had to dial it back the past three games after the public outcry of the first two. It's no coincidence that in those three games the c's have clearly been the better team.

Comparing today's nba to the wwf is spot on. It may not be out-and-out "scripted", but it's, um, heavily "guided" to the results they want.

Apparently Jake can watch the NBA and not have any questions at all

I wouldn't count out the Celtics just yet. It is very much like Lebron to have a game like that followed up by a complete dud.

But Flocka is right. Lebron just needs to get out of his own head and be a killer. If he does that, lights out for everybody.

I personally don't think he'll be able to sustain it for Game 7 and he may not need to do that to win if Boston doesn't show up.

I agree...if he becomes a killer, he will be as close to Jordan as anyone can be. But that's a big if.
