Heat vs Celtics - Eastern Conference Final

after watching games 3,4, and 5, the last thing I would do is start talking matchups between Miami/OKC........Who know's which team shows up for game 7

For your sake, the Heat better win. It would be difficult to sell your sports soul to the devil by jumping on the bandwagon only to have it not pay off.

I mean, really, you deserve it. You been a Heat fan for a long time (two years), put a lot into it, and it is time for the team to reward your loyalty.

I really don't see the risk for him here that you do.

If the Heat do well he continues the Lebron fanboy thing. If the Heat spit the bit, the Durant jersey is in the mail (along with a story about his grandfather liking the Sonics back in the 90's or some such BS).

The only real downside is the Durant jersey won't get him nearly the same level of attention at the grocery store the LeBron jersey does but if the attention deficit gets too severe he always has the scUM jersey to sashay around in.

I don't hide the fact I don't root for teams in the NBA, only players. So if Miami loses tonight, I'll be rooting for Durant. Not a fan of Westbrook, though. There sure as hell isn't anybody on Boston worth rooting for........again, don't care about the team, only rooting for players.

I have no ties to Cleveland, so I don't have the hate for him a lot of you guys do. I understand where you're coming from with it, and it's all good. Do your thing.

I have no ties to Cleveland either, but the guy has been the definition of a douche ever since it became clear he was more concerned about having help than being the best. Throw in Dwayne Wade's antics and Chris Bosh just being a fucking weirdo and you have a pretty hate-able team...even more so than the bitch duo of Garnett and Pierce. There's no way you're 'just a fan of good players', because if you were you would hate Lebron and Wade more than most. They're a disgrace to the sport the way they douche around the court instead of using their superior talent.

I actually enjoy watching Pierce and Garnett play. They know how to dig under the skin of their opponents. With LeBronze being on the opposing bench, I have no problem with using psychological tactics to gain an advantage.

Needless to say, Boston will need to pull out all the stops tonight, and Ray Allen needs to be unconscious from beyond the arc. Give me a Rondo triple-double and I'm feeling A LOT better about the C's chances.

I could buy your bull[Mark May] if you didn't decide that the guys on the Celtics were somehow unworthy of support compared to the three douches in South Beach. And I hate Garnett and Pierce. But neither even compare on the "Punkbitch Scale" to Lebron and DWade. I direct you to Exhibit A:

Vegas has tonight at Miami -8. I don't think it will be that close.

Then again, I thought Dullahan would win the Belmont. :wink2:

Is it just me, or does this game become an afterthought once the Manny P fight starts? I think tonight is the night...he gets beat. Not because I think he's not the better fighter..I just think he's not as hungry as Bradley.

EDIT: WHAT no Vbet on for the fight? Or just for Game 7?

Hey is there any truth to the rumor that Speedo has developed LBJ's new head band?

Payton, Kemp, and Shrempf were the big 3 before that was even a thing.

I'll assume that's directed at me......you bet your ass I was rooting for the Sonics in the Finals. I rooted for anyone going against Jordan. Eventually people will realize I don't care about "teams" in the NBA.
