Heat vs Celtics - Eastern Conference Final

no, a series of lopsided calls highlighted by two of the most egregious, both of which happened in the last 2 minutes of overtime, both of which were de facto game clinchers for miami, followed by two straight days of media uproar, followed by 3 games in which the foul disparity was nowhere near as lopsided makes that argument.
I would hardly call the kick egregious. Wade was hit on the arm virtually simultaneously as he did the kick. Home team is generally going to get that call. I say the foul disparity going away had a lot to do with games being played in Boston as well. On all levels of basketball the home team generally gets more calls.

but, if you want to follow your premise, the villain isn't that interesting if good always wins. knocking the villain from the throne is a much better story line than the bad guy falling flat on his face over and over. it was a much better story last year because miami was anointed king from the start.

Contradict yourself much?

LeBitch, Wade, and Kabosch thumped their chests proclaiming they were going to win title after title. Nearly everyone other then Heat fans hate them, thus their colossal failures bring huge ratings.

FIFY Never know how many will be left after this years failure.

And I love how they make it seem like he was just a free agent switching teams, like that's what it really was.

He's an Akron kid who was drafted by the hometown team. Cleveland sports fans finally had something to hang their hats on and then he took a giant shit all over the fans on national TV. He held out in order to get to the team that he wanted to be on so he DIDN'T have to be the man to carry the team. He wanted Diane to be the man so that he wouldn't get criticized anymore.

Karma's a bitch, ain't it LeBitch???

not really. last year, miami was crowned champs before the season even started. it made for a good story line for them to get beat. this year, that angle doesn't have near the pull if miami gets bounced by boston. however, if miami wins the title this year, then next season, dethroning miami is a much better story line than who's going to beat the heat in 6 games this season.

It most certainly does. With LeBitch and DickWad bitching about everything, fans just want to see to get their comeuppance again.

then wouldn't boston therefore be on the end of getting more fouls?

game 1: boston 22 (counting technicals on the team) miami 21
game 2: boston 33 - miami 18
game 3: boston 24 - miami 24
game 4: boston 30 - miami 28
game 5: boston 21 - miami 21

which one of these is not like the other?

Since Miami won the game, you know what that tells me? A looooot of bullshit makeup calls were made to level the playing field in that game.

LBJ puts up 30 in the first half at Boston and the Heat lead 55-42 at halftime. Obviously, not good for the Celtics, and like him or not that's pretty fucking impressive.

Going to take a much better defensive effort in the second half by the old men in green.

Not liking the Celtics chances heading to the 4th down 13, and if they don't pull it out tonight I really don't like their chances of winning another game in Miami.

Dammit, Pierce needs to go off in the 4th!

Pierce has looked absolutely terrible tonight. Allen is terrified in transition. Don't think it is happening.
