Heat-Mavs 2011 NBA Finals

http://espn.go.com/nba/dailydime/_/page/dime-110603/daily-dime

MIAMI -- The Miami Heat were at it again, celebrating before they had accomplished anything.

There were no fireworks or smoke machines or hydraulic lifts this time. This was a much simpler, two-man production. It consisted of Dwyane Wade extending his right hand up like a swan's neck, pausing to savor the 3-pointer he made in front of the Dallas Mavericks' bench that put Miami ahead by 15 points with 7:44 left in Thursday's Game 2 of the NBA Finals.

...

Nice to see someone from the media actually call DWade out a bit, although Adande called this celebrating, instead of what it really was--a punk move and a show of utter disrespect for the game and for the opponent.

Epic Lefty-esque choke job by Miami.

Dirk dropped trou and everyone on the Heat, including Gloria who was off in the distance observing, saw what big balls looked like.

Gloria's heart promptly exploded...
Incredible finish by Dirk. Fun to watch the last few minutes last night.

Wade is such a bitch laying on the floor begging for a foul at the end.
He's almost as bad as Lebron. Did anyone see the layup Wade missed earlier in the game? He thought he was fouled by Chandler and was clearly demonstrative to the officials. How do the refs let that go but give Carlisle a T as soon as he jumps off the bench?!?!

Will you guys atleast be proud of LeBron if he wins a title with the Heat being he is from Ohio. Not trolling just asking. Remember Shaq left the Magic just like Dwight will.

Fuck no. In fact I hope he misses the last shot to win it or something else similarly soul-crushing.

"It was no celebration at all," James said, unwilling to acknowledge the comments pouring out of the Mavericks' locker room. "I was excited about the fact that [Wade] hit a big shot, and we went up 15. The same thing we've done over the course of the season. There was no celebration at all. We knew we had seven minutes to go still to close out the game."

So it wasn't celebrating at all when Wade posed with his hand in the air right in front of the Mavs' bench for about 15 seconds straight, and only stopped posing when LBJ came up to him fake punching him in the chest and screaming with a smile on his face?

OK, LBJ--whatever you say. :roll1: Unfortunately for people like LBJ and Wade, the tape doesn't lie:

It's not really that surprising. Clearly he has an issue with understanding the meaning of certain words. Like "celebration" and "I got a goal, and it's a huge goal, and that's to bring an NBA championship here to Cleveland, and I won't stop until I get it."

Actually, he appears to have a huge problem understanding the meaning of a lot of words.

Guys: that's not celebrating. Its overcompensating b/c he didn't want anybody to see that he (Lebron) was getting nervous that DWade was putting on an NBA Finals MVP-worthy performance. So he threw the game...

I find it a bit comical the unraveling of the 4th quarter for the Heat came as James was trying to pad hi sown stats. I really think a large part of him wanted to throw up some more points and stats to D-Wade didn't completely dominate the box score.

LeBron turned into a chucker for no reason other than he didn't want to finish the night with 20 points to D-Wade's 39.

I still like the Heat in 6 though.

Me too. I'm trying to focus more on cheering for Dirk (who I really do like) as opposed to cheering against Lebron/Heat. But that's the result I see as well.

You guys really think they're going to win 2 in Dallas? I still see the Heat, but after losing at home, I am seeing it in 7.

And for good measure, some classics this year from the studio gangsters.

Loved seeing D-Wade get brushed on the arm, and immediately fall to the floor on that last 3-point attempt. Get the fuck up, you aren't going to convince the refs to put their reputations (good or bad) on the line to baby you just once more. :shake: The fuck is wrong with the NBA. Actually, I know what's wrong. Nevermind.
