See I think Day is very emotional but it just comes across...odd.
I honestly think this is where the "soft" stuff come from and why he's so thin skinned.
I can't explain it well but here is my try; When a guy like Urban is emotional/pissed/intense he has a certain level of gravitas to him- you take him serious, you get in line (typically).
Contrast that to guys who freak out or get all pissy and it just comes across more "cringy", maybe too much trebble/not enough base in the voice or whatever but I feel like that kind of freak out guy is more how Day comes across.
Urban freak out= oh shit I may get skull fucked here-This fucker is crazy-even the alphas get in line
Day freak out = I hope he doesn't start crying, its going to get real uncomfortable. I can't stand watching a grown man cry. Alpha's may still do their job but they aren't submitting.
Maybe I am way off but Day just doesn't have that air of respect that some people give off and it's not a slam on Day, I think he is a more well balanced, authentic human than Urban but they are hired to be killers. To get a job done.
I think Urban's human dysfunction (and guys like him i.e. Saban-Jordan-Kobe-Tiger) made him a better killer (metaphorically) but a poorer human. Unfortunately for Day, we need the killer more than we need the good man.
